CAVE DIVER
Cave Diver program is designed to train divers in safe cave diving, this is the fourth step in the cave diver career.
The final step in the process, the focus here is on gaining additional practice of all fundamental and emergency skills, under more challenging conditions. Students are expected to demonstrate their readiness to be full-fledged members of the cave diving community.More complex scenarions than thoses practiced before such as line jumps, gaps, circuits and traverses.
 16 training dives is required to reach this point, it is not unusual for students to have made many more practice dives on their own before full Cave Diver certification.

Cave diving Techniques presented during the previous levels are further developed, refined in more challenging cave diving environment

Prerequisites Must be qualified as an Advanced Open Water Diver, NSS/CDS Apprentice Cave diver or equivalent, Nitrox diver. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Cave diver Course Description: 
Classroom and lecture where your Instructor will discuss the following topics: 
 Environment conservation and limit of training, accident analysis, Cave dive planning including gas management with dissimilar volume matching, decompression policies and best mixes for the dive,  psychological considerations, communication, equipment, traverses, circuits techniques , problem solving, emergency procedures, understanding cave maps.
Land drills where your instructor will guide you on practical application such as: use of a safety reel and traverses, circuits techniques.
Open water dive your Instructor will demonstrate new techniques and procedures to help you during the journey
Cave dives: four cave dives where you will be practicing cave diving techniques, and emergency procedures guided, supervised and coach by your cave instructor.

Full Cave diver week long program
This is an intense 8 days minimum training program for people traveling who cannot follow the recommended steps to become a full cave diver.

Prerequisites : Must have proof of 100 dives or sufficient experience doing technical dives to satisfy the instructor that the student has the ability and knowledge to continue into this level of training. Must be Advanced open water diver, Nitrox diver, Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.


Full Cave diver Course Description: 
Classroom and lecture where your Instructor will discuss the following topics: 
 Policy for cavern diving, cave environment, accident analysis, psychological considerations, equipment, body control, techniques, emergency procedures. Environment conservation and limit of training, accident analysis, Cave dive planning including gas management with dissimilar volume matching, decompression policies and best mixes for the dive,  psychological considerations, communication, equipment, traverses, circuits techniques , problem solving, emergency procedures, understanding cave maps.
Land drills where your instructor will guide you on practical application such as:  guideline use, guideline following, emergency procedures, use of a safety reel and traverses, circuits techniques.
Open water dive your Instructor will demonstrate new techniques and procedures to help you during the journey
Cave dives: 16 cave dives where you will be practicing cave diving techniques, and emergency procedures guided, supervised and coach by your cave instructor.

Technical cave diver week long program

Full Technical Cave diver Course Description: 

Classroom and lecture where your Instructor will discuss the following topics: 
 Environment conservation and limit of training, accident analysis, Cave dive planning including gas management with dissimilar volume matching, decompression policies and best mixes for the dive,  psychological considerations, Respiration and breathing control, Mind control, survival training, communication, equipment, traverses, circuits techniques , problem solving, emergency procedures, understanding cave maps.
Land drills where your instructor will guide you on practical application such as: use of a safety reel and traverses, circuits techniques.
Open water dive your Instructor will demonstrate new techniques and procedures to help you during the journey
Cave dives: 16 cave dives where you will be practicing cave diving techniques, and emergency procedures guided, supervised and coach by your cave instructor.





Equipment needed for the course:
1) NSS/CDS Cavern Manual, NSS/CDS workbook student manual, IANTD cave diver manual, IANTD Encyclopedia the "Tao of survival", IANTD Nitrox or USN air decompression table.
2) Mask and fins (springs strap recommended)
3) Wet suit with hood (7mn) or dry suit
4) Double Scuba tank with DIN valve)
5) Two First stage regulators (DIN recommended) with 2 second stages (one hose must be 7 foot long 1 m 50 to 2 m)
6) Power inflator for buoyancy compensator
7) Submersible pressure gauge
8) Back plate with continuous strap recommended and back BCD inflation (wing type)
9) One Primary light, Two back-up diving lights
10) Dive Computer or watch and depth gauge,
11) Small knife and Z-knife
12) One Primary reel with a minimum of 350 feet/110m guideline per team
13) One Safety reel with at least 100 feet/30m of guideline
14) Jump or Gap reel with a minimum of 50 feet/15m of guideline
15) Underwater slate
16) Tools box with spare o-rings
17) Three line markers or line arrows

WDT dive can provide equipment rental if needed
